Beef Steak Bowtie Pasta in Oyster Flavored Sauce

Ingredients

Sirloin beef steak (s) 300 g [2 pcs]
Bowties 120 g [or Farfalle]
Bell pepper (s) 120 g [Yellow, sliced]
Button Mushroom (s) 50 g [sliced]
Shallots 1 pc [sliced]
Butter 2 tbsp
Parsley 2 tsp [chopped, optional]


Marinade

Premium Dark Soy Sauce 2 tsp
Pepper to taste
Premium Oyster Flavored Sauce 2 tbsp
Premium Dark Soy Sauce 1 tsp
Minced Garlic 1 tsp
Corn starch 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Water 125 ml


Directions
  1. Mix beef steak with marinade.
  2. Cook bowties in boiling water according to packet instructions or until tender.  Drain.  Stir-fry bowties with butter.  Keep warm.
  3. Pan-fry beef steak in 2 tbsp oil until desired doneness.  Put on top of bowties.
  4. Saute shallot in 1 tbsp oil until fragrant.  Add yellow squash, mushrooms and stir-fry for 1 minute.  Stir in sauce mix and heat through.  Pour over beef steak.  Sprinkle with chopped parsley.

    Remark: Yellow bell pepper can be replaced by yellow squash.
