Squid and Onion Hot Pot with Chili Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

Squid (s) 400 g [fresh, cut into rings]
Carrot (s) 50 g [shredded]
Fresh Shiitake mushroom(s) 4 pcs [shredded]
Onion(s) 1 pc [shredded]
Celery 1 stalk [shredded]
White wine 4 tbsp [or chicken broth]


Marinade

Chili Garlic Sauce 2 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
White pepper to taste


Directions
  1. Blanch squid in boiling water.  Drain.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pot.  Saute seasoning mix until fragrant.  Add onion, carrot, celery, black mushrooms and squid.  Stir well.
  3. Sprinkle with white wine.  Cover and cook for about 3 minutes until sauce thickens.
