Almond Chicken with Peas

peas 1 package [(12 oz)]
water 3 Tablespoons
vegetable oil 1/4 cup
chicken breast 1.5 pound [skinless, cut into 1/2" cubes]
cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
sugar 2 teaspoons
almonds 1 cup [blanched and slivered]
sherry 1/3 cup
Premium Soy Sauce 3 Tablespoons
Minced Ginger 1 teaspoon

  1. In a bowl, mix giner, sugar, cornstarch and blend in water, soy sauce and sherry. Thaw peas.
  2. Heat oil on medium heat; add almonds. Stir and cook 3 minutes.
  3. Add chicken and cook until it turns white.
  4. Pour in sherry mix. Cook until it thickens. Add peas. Stir-fry until hot and glazed. Serve with rice.
